About the Role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our Business Services team. Working with a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality client outcomes and gain exposure to a broad range of compliance and advisory work.
Supported by experienced Managers and Partners, you’ll build strong client relationships, work across a variety of industries and develop the skills needed to thrive in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entities
Assisting with BAS, FBT and other taxation compliance obligations
Maintaining accurate and well-documented workpapers
Supporting tax planning and advisory engagements
Assisting clients with business structuring, cash flow forecasting and general business advice
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Contributing to the delivery of quality outcomes and exceptional client service
About You
We're looking for a motivated and collaborative professional who is keen to grow their career in Business Services.
You'll ideally have:
Experience within a Business Services or public practice accounting environment
CA or CPA studies underway, or the intention to commence
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
Experience using APS and/or Xero (desirable)
