Short Facts
Join us in driving the energy transition at Entrix. As a Senior Business Development Manager - Poland, you’ll support the full customer lifecycle - from lead qualification and proposal preparation to contract signing and go-live.
This role is ideal for someone who’s eager to grow in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term
Salary-Range: 23 300 - 32 250 PLN monthly salary, depending on seniority and expertise;
Commercial Bonus : 75 000 PLN depending on accomplished goals
Working Mode: Office first set-up with expectations to travel (client meetings in Europe and strategic alignments with our headquarters in Munich)
Language Requirement: Fluent Polish, English C1
Your Responsibilities
- Own full client funnel for large scale clients across the entire journey i.e. from first conversation to contract signature for large developers, utilities and infrastructure funds, whether that means opening a new relationship yourself or picking up an already fairly advanced client conversation through to a signed contract.
- Manage tender participation end-to-end where relevant: from the decision to bid, through preparing commercial, technical and legal input, to submission and follow-up negotiation, including internal stakeholder management and guiding other team members.
- Lead multi-stakeholder negotiations directly with department heads and senior decision-makers on the client side, engaging confidently on commercial, technical, and legal terms — and close the contract yourself, operating within a clearly defined commercial and legal mandate agreed with leadership.
- Proactively identify, approach and develop new business opportunities in the Polish BESS market, prioritize client opportunities together with other team members and drive a scalable sales process for the Polish market.
- Understand each client's needs, decision-making process and internal stakeholders in depth, and shape the Entrix commercial proposition (offer structure, contract type, value stack) accordingly.
- Act as the senior client's internal manager within Entrix across the full relationship, building trust through narrative and evidence from the first conversation onward, to secure buy-in for complex, sometimes unfavourable, decisions.
- Maintain full pipeline transparency in HubSpot across the entire funnel for your accounts.
- Drive a structured, high-quality handover from Sales to Operations for every signed contract.
Your Profile
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, business development, key account management, project development, energy, renewables, infrastructure, consulting, or another commercially-oriented role with high-value contracts.
- Proven track record of owning the full sales cycle end-to-end — from identifying or developing an opportunity through to a signed contract — not just one segment of it.
- Demonstrated experience personally leading and closing complex commercial contract negotiations, including having driven a deal from open issues to signature.
- Experience building relationships with, and negotiating directly with, senior stakeholders or department heads on the client side, including on technical or legally complex terms.
- Comfort working with commercial contract structures (e.g. optimization/tolling agreements, offtake, PPAs, or comparable long-term B2B contracts) and reviewing legal/commercial redlines.
- Ability to manage several parallel accounts at different stages of maturity at once, with strong ownership of follow-ups, deadlines and CRM documentation.
- Native or fluent Polish and full professional fluency (C1+) in English, written and spoken
- Experience in the energy sector, especially renewable energy, BESS, PV, wind, PPAs, energy trading, flexibility, or route-to-market services.
- Existing understanding of the Polish energy market (Day-Ahead, Intraday, balancing market, capacity market, ancillary services, or DSO/TSO-related processes), or the proven ability to build deep market expertise quickly.
- Experience with CRM-based pipeline management (HubSpot or comparable) and contributing to process improvements used by a wider team.
- Prior experience in a scale-up, fast-growing company, or international environment.
- You prefer roles with limited customer and cross-team interactions
- You are not comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory and technical landscape
- You are not familiar with the Polish energy landscape and not interested in actively building expertise in the battery storage space
- You look for a pure management position - we’ll need you to be active operationally as well.
We are committed to diversity - of all backgrounds and experiences. You don’t need 100% of the preferred qualifications to add incredible value to our team. If you’re passionate about what you could accomplish here, we’d love to hear from you.

A Short Note from Your Future Lead
Hi there,
I’m Aleksandra, and I’m Country Manager Poland at Entrix. Over the past years, I’ve worked with some of the largest renewable energy investors across Europe. I’ve negotiated PPAs, built commercial partnerships, developed new services like battery optimization, and managed a portfolio of over 1.7 GW. I’ve worked on both strategy and execution, and I’ve seen first-hand how fast this market is evolving.
At Entrix, we’re building something ambitious — a smart, tech-driven energy trading company to unlock the full value of battery storage in energy markets. In Poland, this means we’re often first movers. We work at the intersection of energy markets, technology and regulation. The projects are complex, the landscape is evolving quickly, and our customers rely on us to help them make their battery projects bankable and successful.
To succeed here, three things matter most: agency, adaptability, and accountability. We need people who take ownership, drive things forward without waiting to be asked, and are ready to adjust course as the market shifts.
If you’re someone who enjoys turning ideas into action, solving real-world problems, and working closely with a tight-knit and ambitious team, I believe you’ll enjoy being part of what we’re doing here.
Looking forward to what we’ll create together,
Aleksandra
