Description
This position is responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, plan, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of Facilities staff.
- Ensure each job is completed and follow up with the requester.
- Create purchase orders for parts and materials needed, monitor and control spare inventory stock
- Assist in selecting outside contractors.
- Source vendors for parts and material needed for Facilities and other departments.
- Maintain and update all facility maintenance records.
- Supervise outside contractors for routine maintenance work per contract.
- Assist with modifying and maintaining company improvement programs such as the recycling program.
- Maintain records of Facilities work order, and general incident reports.
- Train facilities staff as well as other departments in facility maintenance, safety methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to function independently and multi-task
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Negotiation skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (excel and word) required
- Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
- Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of facility maintenance experience required, 5 years preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Must have experience selecting contractors and creating purchase orders
