Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT)

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As the Infrastructure Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Program, you'll lead a cross-functional team responsible for delivering a robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure for U.S. Coast Guard ships. You will manage technical, schedule, and cost aspects of the program, ensure product quality and contract compliance, and proactively report status to leadership. You will collaborate with program and engineering leadership to understand work scope and funding, ensure work is properly prioritized, remove barriers to team success, and monitor progress against team commitments.

• Experience with surface ship infrastructure design and development, including using Linux Server and/or Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server technologies, and designing, configuring, and securing virtual enterprises (VMware, KVM, and Proxmox)
• Project management experience, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) fundamentals
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels, across multiple programs, and with varying leadership styles

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Experience leading or contributing to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) comprised of multi-disciplinary members, including Software Developers, Systems Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Cybersecurity Engineers
• Experience with model-based systems engineering
• Experience with agile project management using Jira and Power BI
• Experience with technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements
• Understanding of and commitment to technical quality and process adherence, with the ability to educate others on these topics
• Experience with system hardening, patching, and remediation to meet DoD cybersecurity guidelines
• Strong problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills, including experience in negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
• Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Proactively identifies and applies AI-driven opportunities to improve processes, accelerate innovation, and enhance product development

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $142,696.00 - USD $158,303.00 /Yr.
