What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Technician to support the daily operation of hotel technology systems. In this role, you will provide hands‑on technical support, maintain critical POS and retail systems, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure seamless operations. This position is ideal for a service‑driven technology professional who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional support to both guests and team members.

What You’ll Do:

Systems & Technical Support

• Support the operation and maintenance of POS systems, including both hardware and software components.

• Maintain and administer Micros systems, including database corrections, menu configuration changes, and historical data retention.

• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace non‑operational and defective equipment across POS and retail systems.

• Maintain retail systems in partnership with retail management to ensure proper configuration and functionality.

Maintenance & Asset Management

• Establish and conduct preventive maintenance schedules for printers, PCs, and related systems.

• Collect and manage hardware inventory, comparing physical assets to automated inventory records.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of all IT equipment and work areas.

Operations & Coverage

• Provide weekend support as part of a seven‑day IT coverage plan.

• Notify appropriate individuals promptly of system issues or unusual operational matters.

• Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards and support operational continuity.

Compliance, Collaboration & Service Excellence

• Administer and comply with all Loews Hotels IT policies, standards, and procedures.

• Attend required hotel meetings and training sessions and remain current on hotel information and system changes.

• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a hospitality‑focused approach in all interactions.

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, recycling initiatives, uniform and grooming standards, and hotel policies.

• Exercise sound judgment, adaptability, decisiveness, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Other Responsibilities

• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

• Demonstrated knowledge of software and hardware operating systems, including Windows OS and Mac OS.

• Experience supporting Retail POS and F&B POS systems (Micros).

• Working knowledge of network architecture and system design.

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
