Inventory Control Associate

Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Inventory Control Associate to be a part of our amazing team!

This position is in the Central Receiving department of a Joint Commission accredited and CMS certified Psychiatric hospital owned and operated by the West Virginia Department of Health Facilities.  This position orders, receives, records, stores, and delivers supplies, materials, and/or equipment throughout the various departments of the hospital.  Responsibilities also include assigning inventory numbers and conducting inventory of all equipment and maintaining accountability of supply usage, including medical supplies. As needed, this position may prepare cost estimates for materials and equipment for various projects as directed by the Supervisor of Central Receiving.  

This is a tobacco free facility.  Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test.  All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies.  Must be able to work holidays and weekends.  Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.  Candidates must successfully pass a background screening.

Substitution Information: Additional education may substitute for the required experience based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
