As a Senior Manager, Product Management on our Advisory Experiences team, you will lead the strategy and evolution of tools and capabilities that enable financial advisors to serve their clients and support their financial goals more effectively. You will bring exceptional product judgment, strategic thinking, technical fluency, analytical rigor, and the ability to lead and influence across business and technology teams.

You will join an ambitious product team responsible for defining and delivering experiences across our retirement and personal wealth businesses. In this role, you will own a significant area of the internal financial advisor experience, identifying and driving opportunities to simplify complex advisor workflows, consolidate capabilities, improve productivity, and evolve the technology ecosystem that supports our advisors.

This role requires a product leader who can operate effectively across user experience, business processes, and technology. You will develop a deep understanding of advisor needs and the systems, data, and processes that enable their work; establish a clear product vision and strategy; and align stakeholders and delivery teams around the highest-value opportunities. You will be expected to navigate significant ambiguity and technical complexity, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and translate complex problems into simple, scalable solutions.

What You Will Do

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a significant area of the financial advisor experience, connecting advisor needs, business priorities, and technology strategy
• Develop a deep understanding of advisor workflows and the systems, data, and processes that support them to identify high-impact opportunities for simplification, consolidation, automation, and productivity improvement
• Identify and frame complex product opportunities, establish a clear point of view on priorities, and influence investment decisions based on advisor value, business impact, technical considerations, and strategic alignment
• Own and evolve a multi-horizon product roadmap, balancing near-term outcomes with longer-term platform, architecture, and capability investments
• Partner closely with engineering and architecture leaders to understand system capabilities, technical constraints, dependencies, and tradeoffs and use that understanding to shape product strategy
• Lead product discovery for ambiguous and complex problem spaces, using advisor insights, behavioral and operational data, market research, and technical understanding to determine where and how to invest
• Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners, building alignment across organizations with differing priorities and perspectives
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives spanning product, engineering, operations, business, risk, compliance, and legal
• Anticipate and proactively manage cross-product and cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs that could affect product outcomes
• Establish clear measures of success and use advisor outcomes, adoption, productivity, operational efficiency, and product performance to evaluate investments and inform future priorities
• Challenge existing processes, technology patterns, and assumptions and identify opportunities to simplify the advisor and technology ecosystem
• Raise the bar for product management by bringing strong product thinking, structured decision-making, and customer-centric practices to the broader team
• Help strengthen product practices and decision-making across the organization

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of product management or relevant experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex technology products, platforms, or capabilities
• Exceptional product judgment, with demonstrated ability to uncover underlying user problems, distinguish needs from requested solutions, and make difficult prioritization and investment decisions
• Strong technical fluency and curiosity, with the ability to reason about system interactions, data flows, integrations, APIs, dependencies, architecture considerations, and technical tradeoffs and engage credibly with engineering and architecture partners
• Demonstrated ability to establish product vision and strategy and translate that strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, stakeholders, and dependencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to combine quantitative data, qualitative insights, business context, and technical considerations to make product decisions
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, establish structure and direction, and drive decisions without relying on prescribed solutions
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience navigating competing priorities and driving alignment with senior leaders
• Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex product and technology topics accessible to different audiences
• Experience operating effectively in highly regulated or operationally complex environments
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others, elevate product practices, and influence teams beyond your immediate area of ownership

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience leading internal, enterprise, platform, or workflow-oriented products where success requires deep understanding of underlying systems, data, and business processes
• Experience leading system consolidation, workflow automation, data integration, platform modernization, or simplification of complex technology ecosystems
• Experience defining product strategy across multiple interconnected products, systems, or capabilities
• Experience building products within financial services, wealth management, retirement, or another highly regulated industry
• Experience building products for financial advisors or other professional users with complex workflows
• Experience influencing technology strategy and partnering with engineering and architecture leaders on significant modernization or transformation initiatives

Base Salary Range

$114,000.00 - $165,300.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
