The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security / Authorizations Senior Consultant to join a leading international consultancy and play a key role in delivering secure, effective SAP solutions for complex client environments.

You will work closely with clients, functional teams and technical specialists to design, implement and optimise SAP authorization concepts across modern SAP landscapes, supporting clients through transformation, migration and ongoing security initiatives.

You Will Take Ownership Of

• Designing and implementing SAP authorization concepts for complex client environments

• Analysing existing authorization structures and identifying opportunities for improvement

• Supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration and implementation projects

• Developing and maintaining roles, profiles and authorization concepts

• Performing authorization analysis, troubleshooting and remediation

• Working with business and technical stakeholders to gather and translate security requirements

• Supporting role design, testing and implementation throughout the project lifecycle

• Advising clients on SAP Security and Authorizations best practices

• Supporting audits, compliance requirements and access reviews

• Contributing to security workshops, solution design and client presentations

• Supporting junior consultants and contributing to the wider SAP Security practice

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in SAP Security and Authorizations

• Strong experience with SAP authorization concepts, role design and administration

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments

• Understanding of SAP Security across complex SAP landscapes

• Experience with authorization analysis, troubleshooting and optimisation

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and associated authorization concepts would be advantageous

• Experience with SAP GRC, Identity and Access Management or related security technologies would be advantageous

• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective security solutions

• Strong understanding of access controls, segregation of duties and compliance requirements

• Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience across the full project lifecycle

• Willingness to work in an international project environment

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
