Quality & Food Safety Director

We are looking for an experienced Chick-fil-A professional who is passionate about food safety, product quality, leadership, and developing people.

Important Experience Requirement

To be considered for this position, candidates must currently work at a Chick-fil-A restaurant or have previous experience working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant. Because this role is responsible for protecting Chick-fil-A food safety, quality, and operational standards, previous Chick-fil-A experience is required.

Position Overview

The Quality & Food Safety Director is responsible for leading and maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout the restaurant.

This leader serves as the guardian of food safety and quality, ensuring that systems are followed consistently, Team Members are properly trained, and our guests receive safe, fresh, high-quality food every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Chick-fil-A food safety and product quality standards
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, preparation, cooking, and holding procedures are followed
• Monitor product quality, freshness, presentation, and consistency
• Ensure food safety inspections, temperature checks, and required procedures are completed correctly
• Maintain strong cleanliness and organization standards throughout the restaurant
• Identify food safety or quality concerns and ensure they are corrected quickly
• Train and coach Team Members and leaders on food safety and quality expectations
• Partner with Kitchen Managers and other leaders to ensure strong execution across all shifts
• Prepare the restaurant for Chick-fil-A inspections, Health Department visits, and internal evaluations
• Help reduce waste and improve operational consistency and efficiency
• Hold Team Members and leaders accountable while maintaining a positive and respectful culture
• Communicate clearly with the leadership team regarding standards, concerns, and opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Must currently work at Chick-fil-A or have previous Chick-fil-A restaurant experience
• Strong knowledge of Chick-fil-A operations
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety and product quality
• Ability to coach, train, and hold others accountable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Strong sense of ownership and a growth mindset
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment

Applicants without previous Chick-fil-A restaurant experience will not be considered for this position.
