Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Automotive Parts Technician to join our team in York, Pa. This is a excellent opportunity for a automotive technician or mechanic who enjoys hands on work and prefers working outdoors instead of being confined to a repair shop.

The ideal candidate will have automotive experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Remove quality automotive parts from cars, trucks and SUV's
• Pull and inventory parts including:
• Body panels
• Suspension components
• Steering components
• Brake systems
• Cooling system components
• Interior parts
• Electrical components
• Other reusable automotive automotive parts
• Inspect parts for quality and resale condition
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Follow work orders and locate vehicles throughout the yard
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining quality standards.

Note: This position does not involve removing engines, transmissions, or complete axle assemblies.

Requirements

 What makes you qualified

• Automotive repair, mechanical, or automotive technician experience preferred
• Ability to identify vehicle components and understand basic vehicle systems
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive starting pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
• Paid Time Off (PTO) after 60 days
