Job Summary
- This role is responsible for leading the operating model of the GTM Marketing organization, including orchestration, governance, organizational readiness, internal communication, and talent and people programs. The role manages a team of program professionals and partners with senior marketing leadership to align priorities, run the planning and decision cadence, maintain governance and decision rights, and prepare the organization for executive reviews. The role also leads talent management and people program responsibilities across the function.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of program professionals, directing their day-to-day operations including staffing, workflow, priorities, and development.
- Leads the organization's operating cadence, including the planning, review, and decision calendar across the function.
- Establishes and maintains governance, including decision rights, operating standards, and escalation paths, and drives resolution of cross-functional issues.
- Leads organizational readiness for planning cycles and executive reviews, ensuring priorities, inputs, and preparation are in place ahead of key milestones.
- Directs internal communication across the organization, including the flow of information to and from senior leadership and the internal narrative.
- Partners with business and regional marketing leaders to align on priorities, resourcing, and cross-functional execution.
- Leads talent and people programs across the function, including workforce planning, onboarding, development, recognition, and organizational health.
- Advises senior leadership on operating priorities, trade-offs, and execution risks.
- Tracks operating performance against goals and drives continuous improvement of the operating model.
- Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development for the team.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 12+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing operations, strategy, business operations, program management, or a related field.
