Summary of the Role
As a Product Definition Analyst / Business Analyst, you will work with stakeholders across product, development, customer services, and implementation teams to analyze business needs, define functional solutions, and support successful product delivery. You will contribute to requirements analysis, solution design, validation activities, and product adoption while ensuring alignment across systems and business objectives.
In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear functional specifications, product concepts, and enhancement opportunities.
Create and maintain functional documentation including Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Product Specifications, and solution designs.
Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Customer Services, and implementation teams to ensure functional compatibility, successful validation, and production readiness.
Support product lifecycle activities including test strategy review, incident analysis, requirements traceability, customer discussions, product demonstrations, and launch support.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, stakeholder workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, delivery effectiveness, and team collaboration.
About the Ideal Candidate
Around 10+ years of experience as a Product Definition Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with experience analyzing and documenting complex business requirements.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, Postman, SOAP UI, Microsoft Office tools, UML, sequence diagrams, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and solution design documentation.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross‑functional teams throughout requirement, testing, implementation, and customer engagement phases.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present solutions, conduct workshops, and work effectively in multicultural environments.
Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++, SQL) and experience in the travel domain are beneficial.
