Job Description
Just imagine becoming the trusted expert who shapes safer workplaces, stronger compliance, and measurable environmental improvements. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Senior EHS Specialist, you'll help drive environmental, health, and safety excellence across dedicated focus areas at the LEGO Group. You'll ensure compliance with regulations, lead audits and risk assessments, implement EHS programs, and work closely with teams across the business to strengthen a safety-first culture. This permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key EHS topics, deliver meaningful improvements, and create lasting impact through practical, sustainable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Led compliance activities aligned with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
- Conducted risk assessments and safety audits that resulted in clear corrective actions and measurable improvements.
- Implemented EHS programs, training initiatives, and supporting documentation with documented outcomes.
- Delivered training, procedures, reports, or presentations that influenced operational decisions.
- Applied data analysis to identify root causes, reduce incidents, or improve safety performance metrics.
- Partnered with operational, engineering, or people teams to deliver EHS initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supported implementation, certification, or auditing activities within ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 frameworks.
- Built dashboards, KPI trackers, or reporting tools to support EHS performance management.
- Managed adoption of new EHS processes through structured change initiatives.
- Delivered projects on time and within defined scope.
What you'll build
- Full ownership and expertise within assigned EHS topics.
- Practical improvements that strengthen compliance, safety, and environmental performance.
- Audit readiness and regulatory compliance across dedicated focus areas.
- Strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Standardized processes and best practices that support long-term improvement.
If you've worked in a role where you conducted audits, reduced risks, implemented EHS programs, or guided teams through compliance requirements, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to turn insight into action and deliver measurable outcomes.
Life on the team
You'll join the Quality & EHS EMEA Pack team, where protecting people and the environment goes hand in hand with building a culture of safety and sustainability. We combine individual ownership with close teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing. Our hybrid rhythm supports connection and collaboration while giving people space to focus. It's a team where you'll deepen your expertise, broaden your impact, and continue developing both technical and leadership capabilities.
The team is based in our LEGO® manufacturing site in Kladno, Czechia. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, flexible, - and we like to have fun along the way!
What success looks like
Success means becoming the go-to person within your assigned EHS areas while helping the organization navigate complex compliance requirements, reduce risk, and strengthen its safety culture. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll contribute to increased digitalization of EHS processes, stronger audit readiness, cross-functional improvement projects, and wider employee engagement. You'll work closely with EHS colleagues, operations, production, engineering, maintenance, human resources, site leadership, and external auditors to help shape a safer and more sustainable future.
