POSITION OVERVIEW
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned business units while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. This position partners closely with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, source top talent, and guide candidates through the hiring process from initial outreach through accepted offer.
The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, and passionate about identifying top talent in a competitive market. This individual will continuously build talent pipelines, strengthen employer branding efforts and leverage recruiting metrics to improve hiring outcomes.
JOB SCOPE
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition kickoff through accepted offer.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand business needs, position requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Develop customized recruiting strategies for each open position.
- Conduct phone screens to evaluate technical qualifications, communication skills, experience, and overall fit.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare candidates for interviews and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Present employment offers and manage the offer process through acceptance.
- Ensure all recruiting activities are completed accurately within the Applicant Tracking System.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, job boards, professional organizations, and industry communities.
- Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Build long-term relationships with high-quality candidates.
- Continuously identify new sourcing channels to improve candidate quality and hiring speed.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Serve as the primary recruiting partner for assigned departments.
- Provide Hiring Managers with regular updates regarding recruiting activity, market conditions, and candidate feedback.
- Advise Hiring Managers on interview best practices and recruiting timelines.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Ensure every candidate interaction reflects ThreatLocker’s values and employer brand.
Employer Branding
- Support initiatives that strengthen ThreatLocker’s employer brand.
- Represent ThreatLocker at recruiting events, career fairs, and industry networking opportunities as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of administrative, recruitment support, or coordination experience.
- Previous use of an Applicant Tracking System.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage scheduling and logistics across multiple teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — approachable and engaging.
- Professional presence, including a neat and professional dress code, when meeting candidates and representing the company.
- Comfortable with repetitive but critical tasks such as resume review and scheduling.
- Familiarity with hiring best practices and compliance is a plus.
