POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join the maintenance and engineering team at a luxury resort in the Caribbean. This is a hands-on role for a practical professional with solid carpentry experience and a commitment to maintaining the high standards expected in a luxury hospitality environment.

 

• Carry out carpentry repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across the resort property
• Fabricate, install, and repair furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, cabinetry, and structural woodwork
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively
• Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with minimal disruption to resort operations and guests
• Handle materials and tools with care, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Support other maintenance and facilities tasks as required

 

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in a commercial, hospitality, or construction environment
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a hotel or resort setting is an advantage

 

• Salary: $12.00 USD per hour
