Description

In this role will manage and grow a team of sales professionals for an industry leading company that designs and builds hi-tech communication equipment for the Fire Service and Public Safety industries. In this role you will grow sales in the California market and the Western US and ultimately nationwide by developing strategic sales initiatives, continue building a high-performing sales team and establish strong business relationships with Fire Chiefs, emergency communication leaders, government agencies and technology leaders. You will develop sales opportunities in Fire Station alerting, Vehicle AVL, CAD integration, Fleet Technology, and Public Safety communications through development of strategic partnerships, sales forecasting, pipeline development, CRM accountability, and identifying and meeting revenue targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years+ experience in Sales leadership and management, Degree preferred but NOT mandatory
- Strong background in communication equipment/electronics and experience in Fire Service, Public Safety, Emergency Communications, AVL, CAD or similar technologies
- Proven success selling technical solutions to government agencies
- Experience building, leading and growing high-performing sales teams
- Exceptional communication skills, leadership and relationship building skills, computer/CRM skills
