Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Integrity in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading technology data center location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with site stakeholders. Your attention to detail and customer-focused approach will help identify and report security-related concerns while contributing to smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Screen individuals, visitor credentials, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access requirements; report discrepancies and/or prohibited items to appropriate site personnel.
• Verify identification, maintain accurate visitor and contractor records, issue access credentials as authorized, and direct guests to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
