Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (“RCGT”) is looking for an intern to join our Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance team in Montreal. You’ll be part of an entrepreneurial and high-performing group that has carved out a strong position in Quebec’s mid-market, offering personalized, high-value advisory services to entrepreneurs and executives at key moments in their company’s life. Your internship at RCGT: a truly human experience

You’ll be involved in various aspects of developing and executing M&A and corporate finance transactions.

On a daily basis, you’ll collaborate with the core team to:

• Conduct a wide range of research and industry analyses;

• Assist in preparing presentations for potential clients (“pitches”);

• Help prepare documentation required to present opportunities to potential buyers, investors, and lenders, including teasers and confidential information memorandums (“CIMs”);

• Research and identify potential strategic and financial buyers and investors;

• Capture and analyze collected data and present information in the appropriate format for its intended purpose.

Your qualifications, skills, and strengths:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (in progress or completed);

• No professional experience required;

• Strong financial/analytical skills in corporate finance and accounting;

• Strong work ethic and high motivation;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of financial market tools such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ;

• Strong interpersonal skills.
