Project Manager

As Project Manager, Genedata Biologics, you are responsible for planning, managing and coordinating enterprise software implementation and integration projects for our clients in the industry.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee and coordinate enterprise system implementation projects to ensure client specifications and needs are met;
• Undertake system deployment and implementation projects, including system integration and configuration, data migration, and rollout support;
• Define, plan, and track projects to achieve company goals within budget and timeline, making presentations to clients and senior management with regards to project status and financial milestones;
• Analyze and distribute product specification reports to clients and gather client feedback;
• Advise clients on system implementation, architecture, and integration strategies;
• Coordinate with Genedata’s scientific, technical, and business teams;
• Work closely with host of cross-functional partners and stakeholders, IT partners and others, to evaluate new or changing business requirements;
• Have responsibility for proactive project communication, documentation and reporting with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements;
• Anticipate and actively manage project risk;
• Organize end-user and admin training;
• Conceptualize, develop, recommend and implement service projects and support the negotiation of client business agreements;
• Create documents to support decision making on project funding/approval;
• Accountable for all project deliverables and timelines;
• Represent Genedata at biopharma events.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum B.S. in Computer or Life Sciences;
• 2+ years related Project Management experience in software, biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries;
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical research and the drug discovery process and familiarity with biopharma research and development including antibody discovery, protein engineering, cell line development, bioprocess development and CMC, biopharma production and bioanalytics, and laboratory automation;
• Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
• Must be able to work independently while participating as part of a team;
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment;
• Skilled time management with the ability to prioritize goals and successfully complete implementation projects;
• Excellent written and verbal English and German skills;
• Demonstrated success in presenting to individuals at multiple levels in the organization;
• Solid understanding of MS-Office.
