**About Us**

Rural PM is a management academy focused on agriculture and food systems.

We develop practical tools, learning programmes and collaborative initiatives that help farmers, food businesses, HORECA professionals and institutions strengthen their capacity to improve operations, navigate uncertainty and create lasting value. Our work sits at the intersection of agriculture, hospitality, organisational learning and rural development. Over the years, our projects and learning activities have connected us with farmers, food businesses, cooperatives, educational institutions, NGOs, public bodies and European initiatives working across the farm to fork cycle.

We are particularly interested in how implementation, coordination and management capability shape outcomes in practice. From farms and food businesses to local initiatives and food system projects, we work closely with the people responsible for producing, processing, serving and governing food.

**The Role**

You’ll design and support transformation efforts across the agrifood system. That includes:

• Small and mid sized farms
• Food processing operations
• Restaurants, hotels and HORECA professionals
• Public and private food service institutions

You’ll join a small team working on learning journeys, site based collaborations and strategic support. We don’t offer one size fits all answers and we don’t work top down. Most of what we do is cocreated with the people directly involved.

This is a role for someone who understands how systems change happens. Not in theory/textbooks but in kitchens, fields and rooms where real decisions get made.

## Tasks

**What You’ll Do**

• Design and guide processes that support a shift to more circular, sustainable operations
• Work with farmers, chefs, managers and food teams to rethink how they source, produce and manage
• Develop practical materials (maps, frameworks, tools) that people can use and adapt
• Bring grounded, live insights into policy conversations and networks
• Stay close to the field and keep our work practical, useful and honest

## Requirements

Who You Might Be

You could be just starting your career and full of curiosity or you may have years of experience and want to apply your skills in more hands on ways. Either way, you’re the kind of person who notices what others miss, works with care and keeps the bigger picture in mind. You likely have experience in one or more of these areas:

• Agriculture or regenerative farming
• Food processing or kitchen operations
• Restaurant, hospitality or HORECA management
• Food systems research, policy or strategy
• Systems thinking and adaptive ways of working

You also:

• Have supported teams through change, especially toward more sustainable or community based practices
• Communicate clearly and thoughtfully, even when things are complex
• Work well independently, but enjoy collaborating in small, diverse teams
• Care deeply about food, people and place and how they connect
