Your role Key responsibilities in your new role In this role, you will take ownership of products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through manufacturing release, driving lot hold management, yield enhancement, test optimization, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives for Power IC and Discrete products . You will collaborate  closely with cross-functional teams , including OSAT Engineering, Business Units, Operations, Quality, and Test Engineerin g , to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve product quality , operational efficienc y , and overall manufacturability . Ownership of Assembly & Fab yields & quality improvement projects , cost reduction for power semiconductor products (technology as assigned and assembled primarily in Malaysia manufacturing plant, but not limited to), including electrical specification per datasheet and  quality performance to meet/exceed product quality & reliability standards and customer expectations Work with internal and external customers  on product quality improvement & zero-defect goals  Work with Business Units, Operations (Assembly & Fabs), Test Engineering, Packaging R&D and Quality teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, yield/quality improvements and defect reduction Work with Fabs & Assembly manufacturing sites, Quality engineering (QA) and Application engineering teams to solve customer quality issues and  8D corrective actions Manage projects  and  lead teams for products cost and performance improvements align with product marketing strategies Participating in  zero defect product launch programs for new technologies  Work with operations to improve test solutions already released to production to enhance the yield or reduce the overall cost of the product Implement new test function  and  test limits to enhance product quality (like  avalanche test, high current test, etc.) Work with operations to set maverick lot criteria and assist on risk assessment and lot disposition  Work with Assembly and Test Integration team to help in completing product test transfer and ensure correct procedures are followed and quality standard are met Support test activity during engineering builds and help with any special test requirement Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  You strive to leverage your experience in semiconductor product engineering, yield enhancement, quality and reliability improvement, and test methodologies to drive product performance, manufacturing excellence, and effective problem resolution. You possess strong analytical, project leadership, and communication skills, with solid knowledge of power devices, semiconductor manufacturing processes , and statistical problem-solving techniques , enabling successful collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve business and operational goals. Bachelor's  or Master's Degree in Electrical or other equivalent fields in engineering & science 2+ years  experience in product engineering  in s emiconductor manufacturing, test, yield enhancement, quality & reliability areas Knowledge and experience in Statistical & Problem-Solving Methodologies Knowledgeable in electrical characteristics of Power Devices (IC, MOSFET, SiC, IGB T , etc.) Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing (Wafer Fab and assembly) Excellent communication skills ( verbal ,  written , and ability to make  presentations to management) Strong driver (assertive and results/goal oriented ) Ability to  initiate, lead and complete projects  with minimum supervision to meet deadlines Team player with good interpersonal skills  (ability to work efficiently with  multi-functional teams ) #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
