JOB DESCRIPTION
To supply the lines with barrels, remove the barrels, weigh the barrels, and any other tasks dealing with the barrels in bacon slice production. Come in and set barrels to all of the lines, constantly supply all the lines with stainless steel barrels and plastic barrels for the #2 product, keep bacon end pans emptied into the barrels, pull barrels away from the lines when they are full and replace them with empty barrels, accurately weigh and identify the product and write the information on data sheets, empty inedible barrels into the inedible combo at the end of each day, and stay after production is over in order to weigh the barrels. Must use all required safety equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's
Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Position will be awarded to the most senior team member.
Most senior TM that meets requirement will be given a 2-week trial period. If self-disqualifies after 2-week trial period and has not been in position for at least 6 months, then they will not be permitted to apply to any postings for 6 months.
Successful bidders will not be permitted to bid again for six (6) months unless promotion to a higher job is available.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able and willing to stand and walk throughout the shift. (8-10 hours)
Must be able to use hands to touch, handle or feel.
Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift or move to 70#.
