Responsibilities
We're seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional to support a commercial construction project in Lawrenceville, NJ. This role will provide on-site safety oversight, conduct daily safety observations and inspections, and help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily Critical Safety Observations (CSOs)
- Complete site inspection checklists and document findings
- Prepare and submit daily safety reports
- Conduct routine safety inspections and field observations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
- Coach contractors and field personnel on safe work practices
- Assist with hazard identification and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 required
- Previous commercial or industrial construction safety experience preferred
- Knowledge of building construction, aerial lifts, ladders, and basic electrical safety
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
