Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sales Manager, to join Aman Indonesia in Indonesia! Reporting to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing – Japan, Korea & Indonesia you will be responsible for the operations within Aman Indonesia Resort.
Responsibilities.
- Conduct strategic sales calls with top producing accounts, including DMCs, luxury travel agents, and consortia partners, to strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Review and manage the top 20 producing accounts across all properties, analyzing production trends, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing underperforming or at-risk accounts.
- Drive new business development by identifying and securing high value accounts, targeting a minimum of 3 to 5 new accounts per quarter.
- Lead contract negotiations with key partners, including rates, allocations, and commercial terms, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and brand positioning.
- Regularly monitor Daily Pick-Up Reports across all properties and take proactive actions to address gaps in pace and performance.
- Review monthly production of Tour Operators and DMCs by property and by country of residence, prioritizing high potential markets while adjusting focus on underperforming segments.
- Analyze Market Segmentation Mix and Country Mix to optimize revenue contribution and ensure balanced market distribution across the cluster.
- Identify need periods and implement targeted sales initiatives, including tactical campaigns and focused account engagement, to drive occupancy during low demand periods.
- Develop and execute bi-monthly Sales Action Plans and Key Wins Reports, ensuring clear ownership, follow up, and measurable outcomes.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to align pricing, availability, and distribution strategies based on market demand and booking patterns.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role, preferably in a luxury resort.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent in business or marketing in related field is preferred.
- Mastery of closing techniques, active listening, and the ability to overcome objections.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate product value and persuade clients.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance targets
