■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

Serve as Function Owner driving the end-to-end development of Driver Monitoring Systems and Occupant Monitoring Systems, including drowsiness detection, occupant presence, child presence detection, and personalization features. You will act as the primary technical interface to Japanese OEMs, lead cross-functional development across Systems, Software, Validation, Quality, and Project Management teams, oversee Automotive SPICE-compliant processes, and manage Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets from concept through mass production launch.

 

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

• Master's or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of automotive product development experience (or 2-3 years specifically focused on JOEM DMS/OMS delivery).
• Direct experience working and negotiating effectively with Japanese Automotive OEMs (JOEMs).
• Fluent, business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• Solid grasp of embedded software tools, configuration management, and change control processes.

 

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on background with camera-based vision systems, radar, ADAS, or in-cabin sensing technologies.
• Direct development experience with Driver Monitoring or Occupant Monitoring applications.
• Valid Japanese driver's license.
