Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle in a safe and organized manner
• Verify and confirm delivery instructions and ensure all necessary paperwork is in order
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all traffic and transportation laws and regulations
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
• Knowledge of Gauteng and surrounding areas
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
