As a Maintenance Officer, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Hawthorn facility.
St Vincent’s Care Services Eltham is just 20 kilometres north-east of Melbourne’s city centre and is well known for its vast amount of green space. We provide a welcoming and inclusive community where our residents enjoy the comfort of a relaxed lifestyle.

8.00am-4.00pm
Things that work for us:
Trade qualifications in carpentry or plumbing (preferable).
Ability to perform maintenance works.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritise own schedule of activities.
Aged, Health or Community care experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound computer skills.
Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights and responsibilities and ability to follow directives as per care plan.
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months).
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
