Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Protection Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, observe for loss prevention concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity for unusual conditions or potential policy violations; report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
