Description of Work

This position plays a key role in supporting the dynamic programs within the Marketing Division, including International Marketing, Agribusiness, and the Farmers Markets & Ag Centers. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the point of contact by independently answering and routing phone calls
• Prioritizing daily tasks and maintaining smooth office operations
• Identifying and resolving issues with sound judgment and initiative
• Interpreting and clearly communicating policies and procedures to internal and external stakeholders

This role reports directly to the Assistant Director for International Marketing and provides additional support to the Assistant Directors for Agribusiness Development and Farmers Markets & Ag Centers.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Recruitment Range: $39,244 - $50,000

  • Knowledge of MS office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Skills in organizing workflow and coordinating activities.

  • Ability to communicate professionally in both oral and written form.

  • Ability to understand issues, identify problems, and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action.

  • Ability to demonstrate an effective working relationship with coworkers and the public.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
