  • You will leverage your technical expertise to lead or co-lead drug substance development programs, overseeing process development, scale-up, and manufacturing activities at global CRO and CDMO partners.
  • You will lead technical discussions with CDMOs, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and implement data-driven process improvements.
  • You will design and develop innovative, scalable, and commercially viable synthetic routes for complex small-molecule APIs.
  • We will rely on your regulatory compliance oversight at vendor sites during manufacturing campaigns.
  • You will define and implement phase-appropriate control strategies for raw materials and drug substance manufacturing, ensuring robust processes, consistent product quality, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • You will act as the key technical transfer resource, in implementation of optimized drug substance processes at our vendors.
  • You will troubleshoot and solve synthetic, scale-up and manufacturing issues.
  • You will author and review/approve specifications, batch records, development reports, manufacturing reports, and other critical technical documents as needed.
  • Collaboration is key for this role as you will work with other pharmaceutical development colleagues and external collaborators at CDMOs to advance the project.
