We’re looking for an inspiring, commercially minded, and guest-focused Director of Spa to lead our luxury spa operation. As the strategic leader of the spa, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving commercial performance, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring the highest standards of service excellence across all areas of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced spa professional who is passionate about wellness, hospitality, and leadership. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the spa's vision, enhancing revenue opportunities, developing talent, and positioning the spa as a market-leading wellness destination.
What You Will Do
Provide strategic leadership for all spa operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and service standards
Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse spa team, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence
Drive commercial performance through effective revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, and achievement of financial targets
Develop and implement innovative spa programs, treatments, wellness offerings, and guest experiences that align with market trends and brand standards
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and ongoing development of spa team members
Work closely with hotel leadership and departmental colleagues to deliver seamless guest journeys and support wider business objectives
Manage relationships with suppliers and product partners, ensuring optimum stock levels, cost control, and retail performance
Ensure all spa facilities are maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
Lead guest service recovery initiatives, proactively resolving concerns and continuously improving the guest experience
Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to increase spa awareness, utilisation, membership growth, and retail sales
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in a senior spa leadership role, preferably as a Director of Spa, Spa Manager, or similar position within a luxury hospitality environment
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, revenue generation, and cost control
A passion for wellness, luxury hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
A strategic and innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth and service enhancement
Strong operational management experience with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience using spa management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
The ability to analyse business performance data and implement effective action plans
A flexible approach and commitment to maintaining the highest standards in a dynamic hospitality environment
