Department Overview

Computer Aided Dispatch center is an essential part of advanced group communication solutions. Dispatching is a central functionality of such a center. Dispatch and Content Logging team is responsible for creating integrated dispatch solutions. The core functionality is delivering audio communication between dispatchers and radio users in the public safety industry - including fire rescue, 911 call takers, police, army and many others. Everywhere reliable, real-time and secure communication is required. On top of the audio services, a variety of features help operators improve their efficiency and effectiveness - like call logging, instant recording, text communication.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our software validation team. In this role, you will develop new test scenarios, maintain our automated test suite, and continuously optimize our testing infrastructure. You will diagnose complex product issues and validate effective solutions. A key part of your role will also involve sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

Basic Requirements

What will you be doing?

• Develop, and improve our automated test suite to ensure scalability and high performance.

• Design, maintain, and optimize testing infrastructure.

• Diagnose and identify complex product issues, proactively looking for process improvements.

• Collaborate closely with various engineering teams within the Cracow site to align on quality standards.

• Documenting your work.

What skills you bring:

• Extensive practical knowledge of Python.

• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Azure DevOps).

• Very good troubleshooting skills, with an analytic approach to complex architectural tasks and problems.

• English language skills at a level allowing efficient technical communication in a global environment.

• Proactive mindset, independence, and a drive for continuous improvement.

 

Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:

• Knowledge of C++ programming.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and network services.

• Experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible).

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field, or similar.
