About the role
Working from our Chullora Distribution Centre our cold chain network delivers to approximately 2000 customers in the Sydney area and 3000 in the northern regions including southern QLD operating 6 days per week. The Chullora Distribution Centre ensures our multiple 3rd Party Logistic providers offer a high-quality service, delivering on time and in full.
We currently are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team based at Chullora to cover day shift (6am to 2pm). The main responsibility for this role is coordinating Warehouse and distribution activities across the Chullora Distribution centre. The role will also provide the first point of contact for warehouse related Safety, Facilities, Operational and Service issues.
This role works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm at Chullora, 5 days a week.
Other responsibilities
Ensure timely dispatch of product to meet customer order requirements
Ensure route orders are placed and 3PL provider are actioning picking programs
Responsible for management of Night Shift coordination's
Ensure the site is compliant with Bega national safety systems and work with counterparts to achieve safety principles.
Manage route network and support any issues and challenges
About you
Experience in a similar role coordinating logistics in a distribution centre environment
Transport and warehousing knowledge in a FMCG environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Results oriented, desire and drive for continuous improvement
High level of Excel and Systems knowledge (SAP, TMS, WMS)
