Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Roanoke, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
