Your New Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a part-time Project Manager to support a long-term sustainment program, with responsibility for project governance, reporting, risk and issue management, financial forecasting, contract renewals, change requests and stakeholder coordination.
The role suits a self-starting, organised PM with software, ICT, defence, government or similar experience, who can work under limited guidance, keep priorities moving, and provide stable support to the program over a meaningful period.
Key Responsibilities
Support project governance including reporting, risk, issue, dependency tracking, and escalations
Coordinate inputs for internal and customer reporting, including progress updates, financials, and risk visibility
Assist with financial governance, forecasting, billing inputs, and commercial coordination
Manage contract renewals, change requests, approvals, and stakeholder communications
Maintain project artefacts, track delivery progress with technical teams, and support resource coordination
About You and What You’ll Bring
Experience in project management, project coordination, PMO, or delivery support within ICT, defence, government, or similar environments
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Experience supporting reporting, risk and issue management, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement
Commercial awareness with confidence working across contracts, renewals, and change requests
Proactive and self-motivated, with strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
Project management certification such as PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile, or Scrum Master is highly regarded.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
