The Position
Based within Group Communications, our department focuses on translating core communication goals into highly effective digital experiences. We collaborate closely with content creators, communication leads, channel owners, and digital teams to design, manage, and optimize channels that strengthen audience engagement globally.
We are seeking a Digital Experience Designer to shape and enhance how audiences engage with our digital communications channels and platforms. In this role, you will combine experience design, content strategy, and design thinking to create compelling, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences that support our communication objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of design principles, digital channels, audience engagement, and content presentation.
The Opportunity
As our Digital Experience Designer, you will have the opportunity to make a global impact through the following key responsibilities:
Ensure operational excellence, system resilience, and full compliance while proactively identifying and mitigating UX risks across our global digital presence.
Design and optimize digital communication experiences across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
Create layouts, page structures, interactive elements, visual concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to clearly communicate ideas, deliver solutions, and enhance content consumption.
Facilitate design reviews and stakeholder workshops to effectively navigate and resolve trade-offs between cross-functional teams within a multinational setting.
Monitor digital communication trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to keep our channels at the forefront of the industry.
Use performance insights and audience feedback to identify opportunities for continuous enhancement.
Contribute to the evolution of digital communication standards, templates, and best practices.
Who You Are
We are looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking professional who meets the following qualifications:
Experience & Education: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in experience design, UX design, visual communication, or a related discipline, ideally supported by a degree in Digital Design, Visual Communication, Communications, Media Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Domain Expertise: Proven experience designing digital experiences, websites, intranet platforms, or communication-focused digital channels, with preferred experience working within corporate communications, employee communications, public affairs, or employee engagement platforms.
Design Methodology: Expertise in synthesizing content strategy, establishing and maintaining global information architecture, integrating digital communication principles, and applying Design Thinking methodologies (with relevant certification preferred).
Collaboration & Scaling: Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience scaling design practices, systems, and operations within large, complex organizations.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms, alongside a strong knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
