The Sales Order Management Senior Analyst (Budapest Hub) is responsible for managing and analyzing customer orders and interactions to ensure a seamless, efficient process. This role involves coordinating with various departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Commercial, Quality) to analyze data, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain accurate records.
The role delivers best-in-class service for sales order management in line with SLAs, ensuring a positive customer experience, and addresses operational issues through to resolution in an effective and timely manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Order taking: Timely and accurate creation of customer orders received through various channels (e.g., EDI, email) in the ERP system and Esker.
- Order validation and acceptance: Perform necessary checks for incompleteness, blocks, and rejection reasons; update orders as needed.
- Order allocation and backorder processing: Manage automatic quantity allocation based on stock availability, product allocation setup, and customer prioritization. Process backorders (automatically or manually) for non-confirmed order lines.
- Delivery processing: Generate deliveries on time with all required information and coordinate with the warehouse to initiate distribution.
- Invoicing: Create invoices and accounting documents accurately and communicate them to customers.
- Customer interaction: Respond to customer queries via Salesforce and contact customers and internal stakeholders, driven by a "first call resolution" approach.
- Process improvement: Drive continuous improvement of the order management process and organize local and hub-level interactions to ensure flawless execution, particularly around customer stock management.
About you
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Customer Contact Management, or Order to Cash contract & commercial conditions management (or similar), preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience operating within a Business Services organization (advantageous)
- Experience with transition projects (advantageous)
- Strong business acumen (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of commercial policies, pricing, rebates, on/off invoices, returns, and claims policies (essential)
Technical
- Hands-on experience with SAP (R3/S4) (essential); SD module knowledge advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with case management tools (advantageous)
Interpersonal
- Strong professional knowledge of Order and Customer Contact Management; ability to interact professionally with customers and cross-functional teams (essential)
- Autonomous, takes ownership of tasks and processes, and handles situations independently (essential)
- Strong team player, able to collaborate cross-functionally with an end-to-end mindset (essential)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities (essential)

Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Languages:
- Excellent written and verbal English and Italian

The salary range for this position is :Ft9 120 000,00 - Ft13 680 000,00Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
