Project Manager

About the Role

For our client, we are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join the delivery function of a UK financial services organisation.

These are long-term B2B contract roles focused on managing business and IT change initiatives end to end. You will report into the Delivery Manager and take ownership of multiple projects in parallel, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, budget control, and clear delivery reporting.

The role requires strong communication skills and confidence working directly with UK stakeholders on a daily basis. The client places particular emphasis on communication quality, clarity, and the ability to build trust across technical and business teams.

The positions are remote and suitable for candidates based in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland with EU nationality. Occasional travel to the UK is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage business and IT change projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Run multiple projects in parallel while maintaining clear priorities and delivery control.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain effective project governance and ensure delivery processes are followed consistently.
• Manage change-control processes and assess the impact of scope or requirement changes.
• Track project progress and provide clear, accurate status reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery activities across business, technology, and operational teams.
• Facilitate project planning, milestone tracking, and dependency management.
• Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation actions to resolution.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support budget tracking and financial control across assigned projects.
• Ensure project documentation is current, structured, and suitable for governance reviews.
• Work closely with the Delivery Manager and other project stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
• Support successful handover and closure of completed initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Around 6–8 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Current or very recent experience in a project delivery role.
• Strong experience managing business and/or IT change projects end to end.
• Ability to manage several projects in parallel.
• Solid understanding of delivery governance.
• Practical experience with change control.
• Strong experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Experience managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Strong status-reporting skills for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with UK stakeholders.
• English at C1 level or equivalent professional fluency, both spoken and written.
• Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
• Stable and consistent recent project-management career history.
• EU nationality.
• Based in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, international environment.

Preferred Requirements

• Consultancy or professional delivery-organisation experience.
• Financial services experience.
• Experience in another regulated industry.
• Exposure to large programmes with multiple workstreams.
• Experience working across both business and technology change.
• Scrum certification.
• PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project-management qualification.
• Previous experience working with UK-based organisations or stakeholders.
