Digital Projects Specialist

• Full time, fixed term position until November 2027
• Play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Library’s digital services programs
• Base Salary $117,133 + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

The Digital Projects Specialist provides project leadership, oversight and specialist advice to support the delivery of the Library’s digital projects and initiatives. In this role, you will develop and implement project plans, coordinate activities and deliverables, and monitor progress to ensure projects achieve agreed milestones and outcomes.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the Library and University, managing project communications, building effective relationships and supporting collaboration across project teams. You will also contribute to identifying opportunities to enhance digital services and platforms through the effective use of technology.

About you

• demonstrated project management experience, particularly delivering technology or digital projects within a complex organisation
• demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, activities, timelines and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes
• demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders across complex projects
• demonstrated experience developing, implementing or managing digital services and platforms, preferably within a library or higher education environment
• demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital solutions, and translate these into initiatives that support learning, teaching and research and enhance library services
• demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative, sound judgement and problem-solving skills to manage issues and competing priorities
