Senior Manager - OTC

Key Responsibilities Operational Responsibilities (50%) • Own and oversee end-to-end OTC operations at scale, ensuring efficient order processing, accurate billing, timely collections, and cash realization across regions or business units • Translate business and finance objectives into operational plans, SLAs, and performance targets, ensuring consistent delivery and service excellence. • Anticipate operational risks and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions to protect cash flow and revenue or any potential escalations. • Ensure a broader level understanding of critical stakeholders and overall Ecolab business model • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization and digital enablement. • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring AR integrity, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy • Ensure full SOX compliance across OTC processes, including design, documentation, execution, and monitoring of key controls, timely remediation of control gaps, and ownership of audit findings and walkthroughs. • Prepare, analyze, and present collection performance reports, trends, and root‑cause insights to leadership. People & Stakeholders Management Responsibilities (50%) • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of collection analysts and supervisors to ensure high performance and strong functional capability. • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members. • Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and SLAs; track progress and guide improvements proactively. • Build a strong culture focused on accountability, service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. • Ensure the management of key internal and external stakeholders and enable a collaborative approach with multiple related functions Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • 14-16 years of experience in OTC, specifically in collections and credits, with a minimum of 8 years in a supervisory role. • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Proficiency in ERP/CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools Core Competencies • Strong understanding of the Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) process including Billing, Collections, Credits Disputes, and Cash application. • Ability to translate business and finance strategy into scalable operational execution, SLAs, and performance outcomes • Effective business partnering with Sales, Finance, Credit, , IT, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to enable decision making • Continuous improvement orientation in standardization, automation and change management. • Ability to lead managers, build high-performing teams Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) • Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI) • SLA Adherence (%) across OTC processes • Credit policy compliance (overrides, audit findings, SOX adherence). • Billing Accuracy / Revenue Leakage Rate • SOX Control Effectiveness (Audit Findings / Control Exceptions. • Compliance score (audit results, process adherence). • Employee engagement and retention.
