Applications Engineer – Automation
Join a growing automation team developing robotic solutions for CNC machine tending and advanced manufacturing applications. This is a pre-sales engineering role focused on taking customer requirements and turning them into practical, technically sound automation concepts.
- Develop robotic automation concepts and system layouts using SolidWorks
- Review RFQs and determine the appropriate technical solution
- Size and select robots, EOAT/grippers, material handling and peripheral equipment
- Perform payload, reach, cycle-time and feasibility analysis
- Work with FANUC robotics, CNC machines and machine-tending applications
- Partner with Sales and Proposal Engineering to develop complete customer solutions
