Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Response in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge and entry protocols as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
