Warehouse Picker / Packer Associate (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
Position Summary
The Warehouse Picker / Packer Associate is responsible for accurately picking, stocking, and packing customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment utilizing GreyOrange automated mobile storage units. This role supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, order quality, and productivity standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners and GreyOrange robotic/mobile storage systems.
- Load inventory into GreyOrange mobile stocking units (“Put” process).
- Retrieve inventory from GreyOrange mobile units to fulfill orders (“Pick” process).
- Pack customer orders securely and accurately according to company packing standards.
- Label, verify, and prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies or damaged product.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, picking, packing, or distribution experience preferred.
- Experience working with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong reliability and attendance record required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team-oriented attitude with willingness to support operational needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, and carrying.
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Work Environment
- Distribution center / warehouse environment utilizing GreyOrange robotic automation technology.
- May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling based on business needs.
