We are looking for GIS Data & Analytics Officer or Mapping & GIS Analyst.

The requirements mainly focus on:

Operational Mapping - Production of maps for delegations, field teams, and management.

Geospatial Analysis - Identification of humanitarian needs areas, population movement analysis, incident tracking, and security monitoring. Remote Sensing and Satellite Imagery - Damage assessments, infrastructure monitoring, and crisis situation analysis.

Field Data Collection - GPS data collection, mobile applications, and georeferenced surveys (e.g., Survey123).

Geographic Database Management - Maintenance of geodatabases, geographic reference datasets, and mapping portals.

Dashboards and Visualization - Web maps, dashboards, and decision-support tools.

Training and Support for Operational Teams - Helping teams effectively use geospatial data and GIS tools.

Candidate Profile:

• Education in: Geomatics/GIS; Geography; Remote Sensing; Environmental Sciences; Geospatial Engineering.

• 3-5 years of experience in GIS.
• QGIS or ArcGIS / Esri.
• Geographic database management.
• Python (commonly ArcPy, sometimes GeoPandas).
• Dashboard development (Tableau, Power BI).
• Web mapping GPS and mobile data collection.
• Spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.
• Experience in humanitarian operations, crisis management, or international development is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and in complex operational environments.
