Description

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday You'll play a key role in accelerating growth across some of our most strategic private sector customers. By building trusted relationships, creating meaningful engagement at senior levels, and uncovering new opportunities, you'll help turn high-potential accounts into long-term revenue success stories. Build and strengthen relationships within strategic customer accounts to generate new business opportunities and long-term growth. Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, translating complex ideas into compelling business outcomes. Identify customer challenges, understand their future ambitions, and develop solutions that align with their business strategies. Generate and qualify a strong pipeline of opportunities, providing high-quality leads that support revenue and margin growth. Collaborate across sales, bid, technical, and commercial teams to develop winning propositions and support complex sales opportunities. Drive executive engagement activities and encourage meaningful customer interactions that strengthen partnerships. Use customer insights and market intelligence to identify whitespace opportunities and create targeted growth plans. Influence internal teams to ensure products and solutions continue to meet evolving customer needs. Champion collaboration across multiple teams, bringing together expertise and resources to deliver successful outcomes. Experience developing relationships and growing opportunities within strategic or enterprise-level customer accounts. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to build compelling customer business cases and value propositions. Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior decision-makers and executives. Skilled at identifying customer needs, uncovering opportunities, and translating them into actionable sales strategies. Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working collaboratively across complex, matrixed organisations. Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility and trust. Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use insights and market intelligence to guide decisions. A proactive and curious mindset, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to customer engagement. A positive, energetic approach and a passion for delivering great customer outcomes. A degree or equivalent practical experience gained through a successful career in business development, sales, or account management.
