Inside the Role
The Senior Business Strategy Analyst serves as the strategic liaison between the North America Regional Strategy Team and DTFS Mexico.
This role helps ensure alignment between regional priorities and local business needs by providing strategic insights, portfolio visibility, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination. The position supports business growth by helping leadership understand market trends, evaluate opportunities, monitor strategic initiatives, and connect organizational priorities with employee engagement efforts.
The role does not directly lead project execution. Instead, it works closely with Mexico leadership, Continuous Improvement (CI), PMO, and business teams to ensure initiatives are aligned with the overall DTFS strategy and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Alignment & Business Planning
- Support the adaptation and execution of DTFS North America business strategy within the Mexico market.
- Ensure alignment between regional strategic priorities and local business objectives.
- Facilitate strategic planning and business review processes with leadership teams.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, business priorities, and transformation initiatives.
- Act as the primary connection between DTFS Mexico and the North America Strategy Team.
Strategic Portfolio Visibility & Governance
- Maintain visibility of the strategic portfolio across Mexico, including CI initiatives, projects, AI initiatives, and business-driven initiatives.
- Provide leadership with transparency regarding priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, investments, and expected business benefits.
- Develop executive dashboards, leadership presentations, and portfolio reporting.
- Track progress and benefits realization of strategic initiatives.
- Partner with the Continuous Improvement team, which remains responsible for project execution and project management activities.
Market Intelligence & Business Insights
- Monitor economic, regulatory, competitive, and industry developments that may impact DTFS Mexico.
- Assess potential implications for customers, dealers, portfolio performance, and business growth.
- Prepare executive briefings and strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and market trends relevant to the organization's strategic direction.
Culture & Organizational Engagement
- Build strong relationships across all business functions and serve as a connector between local teams and regional stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement within Mexico.
- Serve as a bridge between regional culture initiatives and local implementation.
- Support programs related to onboarding, Brand Immersion, capability development, and employee engagement.
- Lead or coordinate culture-related initiatives, committees, and collaboration opportunities across Mexico and North America.
- Measure and communicate the impact of engagement and culture initiatives.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, consulting, transformation, project/program management, HR strategy, or related areas.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders and multiple business areas.
- Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and business reporting tools.
- Ability to travel within North America as required.
Preferred
- Experience in financial services, captive finance, banking, automotive, or transportation industries.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, governance, portfolio management, and organizational transformation.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies and change management practices.
