About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to own and drive the company's organic search strategy and technical SEO program. This role will be responsible for improving organic visibility, search performance, website architecture, and search engine discoverability across the company's primary website and supporting web properties.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical SEO expertise with a strategic understanding of content architecture, search analytics, and emerging AI Engine Optimization (AEO) practices. This role will work closely with the Content, Brand, Marketing, and Website Optimization teams to build and execute a scalable SEO roadmap aligned with business and growth objectives.

What you’ll do

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Develop and own a comprehensive SEO roadmap aligned with business and growth objectives.

• Establish and maintain SEO standards, frameworks, and best practices across the company's web properties.

• Conduct comprehensive technical and on-page SEO audits and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Optimize website architecture, page hierarchy, metadata, headings, internal linking, and structured content.

• Identify technical and content-related opportunities to improve organic visibility and search performance.

• Monitor search trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.

• Develop strategies to improve search visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

Content Architecture & On-Page SEO

• Develop content architectures that support priority business pages and organic growth objectives.

• Build topic clusters and internal linking frameworks that strengthen site authority and topical relevance.

• Partner with Content and Brand teams to develop SEO-focused content strategies.

• Provide SEO recommendations for new and existing website content.

• Ensure content and website structures follow current SEO and AEO best practices.

Technical SEO & Website Infrastructure

• Audit website infrastructure and identify technical issues affecting crawlability, indexability, site structure, and search performance.

• Review SEO implications of changes to Webflow pages, microsites, calculators, and other digital properties.

• Partner with the Website Optimization Specialist to ensure website enhancements maintain SEO integrity.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues affecting organic performance.

• Establish SEO standards for new website pages, components, and web properties.

Backlink & Authority Management

• Conduct backlink audits and identify low-quality or potentially harmful backlinks.

• Develop strategies to improve backlink quality and domain authority.

• Identify opportunities for high-quality link acquisition in partnership with relevant marketing teams.

• Monitor backlink profiles and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Establish baseline SEO performance across relevant web properties.

• Monitor performance using Google Search Console and other SEO analytics platforms.

• Analyze organic traffic, rankings, visibility, indexing, and other SEO performance indicators.

• Develop insights and recommendations based on SEO performance data.

• Provide regular reporting on SEO progress, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.

AI Engine Optimization

• Support the development of an AI Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy.

• Identify opportunities to improve the discoverability and representation of the company's content across AI-powered search and answer engines.

• Stay current with emerging AI search trends and their impact on organic visibility.

• Collaborate with content and website teams to apply emerging AEO best practices.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, with strong experience in technical SEO.

• Proven experience developing and executing SEO strategies and roadmaps.

• Strong understanding of website architecture, crawlability, indexability, metadata, internal linking, and structured content.

• Hands-on experience conducting technical SEO audits.

• Strong experience with Google Search Console and SEO analytics.

• Experience developing content architectures, topic clusters, and internal linking strategies.

• Experience with backlink audits and link-building strategies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate SEO data into actionable business recommendations.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Webflow CMS or other modern CMS platforms.

• Experience with tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO platforms.

• Experience with Google Analytics/GA4.

• Experience with B2B SaaS or technology companies.

• Familiarity with AI Engine Optimization (AEO) and emerging AI search platforms.

• Experience working with high-growth or startup environments.
