What will you do?

As a Customer Support Officer, you’ll support customers throughout their application process and help make their experience as simple and positive as possible.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Making and taking inbound and outbound customer calls
• Responding to general customer enquiries
• Supporting customers through their application process
• Assisting with account enquiries and updates
• Recording accurate customer information in our CRM
• Processing payments and documenting payment arrangements
• Assisting with basic application or IT-related troubleshooting
• Supporting requests relating to withdrawals and cancellations
• Working towards agreed customer service targets and service levels

You’ll be part of a supportive team of Customer Support Officers locally, working alongside team members overseas.

What will you bring?

You don’t need years of corporate experience or a specific degree to be successful in this role. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping customers.

You’ll bring:

• A recently completed or nearly completed tertiary qualification
• Some customer service experience, gained through hospitality, retail, contact centre work or a similar environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence speaking with different types of people
• Empathy, patience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations
• A proactive and positive approach to learning
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• The ability to follow processes and work towards targets
• Basic problem-solving skills and confidence using technology

Our office days are Tuesday to Thursday, with Monday and Friday available as remote working days.

Our hiring process

At Brighte, we use AI every day, and we’re looking for people who are curious about how technology can improve the way we work.

As part of our hiring process, all roles include an assessment designed to understand how you think and how you use AI in practice. There’s no right tool — while we use Claude, you can use whichever tool you’re most comfortable with. We’ll provide more information during the recruitment process.

Towards the end of the process, successful candidates will be required to complete reference and background checks, including police, anti-money laundering, and bankruptcy checks.
