Highlights:
Summary: The Director, Patient Financial Services shall be responsible for overseeing daily operations for the Central Business Office (CBO). This will include monitoring AR performance and indicators to ensure a shared focus is aligned to achieve set KPIs. This individual will develop and implement processes and controls to ensure revenue capture is accurate and maximized while identifying ways to prevent revenue erosion, reduce costs, and improve margins. The Director will review policies and processes to ensure processes and department structure are efficient and effective. The Director will engage managed care, payers, and payer representatives as needed to review claim and denial trends, gather and disseminate information as applicable and ensure payer contracts are favorable and sustainable. Additionally, the Director will provide analysis, action plans, and ensure training and education is provided to prevent and reduce denials and improve KPIs. This individual will also have oversight of vendor relationships and vendor performance.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or similar field required, Master’s degree preferred. At least 10 years hospital and physician patient financial services required. Minimum 10 years management experience required.
