Description
The Project Manager of Procurement is responsible for leading hospitality FF&E procurement projects from design development through project completion. This role manages project budgets, bidding, purchasing, expediting, logistics, installation coordination, and closeout while serving as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal project teams. The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality procurement knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead hospitality FF&E procurement projects from inception through completion in partnership with Procurement leadership.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, bidding, bid analysis, purchasing, expediting, logistics, installation coordination, and project closeout.
- Translate design specifications into accurate procurement documentation, including RFQs, bid comparisons, budgets, and purchase orders.
- Serve as a primary client contact, communicating project status, risks, decisions, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, freight partners, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
- Provide direction, delegation, and quality control for supporting project team members.
- Maintain knowledge of hospitality brands, standards, FF&E and OS&E requirements, manufacturers, pricing, and lead times.
- Identify project risks or issues proactively and work with the team to develop solutions.
- Participate in industry events, vendor meetings, trade shows, and other hospitality networking opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience with an emphasis on hospitality procurement and project management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality FF&E and OS&E procurement processes.
- Experience with specifications, supplier selection, costing, bidding, purchase orders, expediting, logistics, and project closeout.
- Able to provide conceptual budgets based on tagged floor plans and concept design drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to create and maintain analytical reports in Excel.
- Experience working in SPEXX/EXXPEDITE preferred.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
- Clear, concise written communication with strong attention to contractual and financial details.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a numbers-oriented mindset and strong time-management skills.
